Vegas baby

I went to Las Vegas on the last weekend, with my uncle-aunt and my cousins. Though I never be crazy bout Vegas (I don't gamble and not even like it), but it was a good vacation, spent a little time with family.
Vegas, like always, still alive with those pretty lights at night. Lots of new hotels since the last time I came at 1999. And the traffic becomes worse and worse (lucky those taxi drivers!). But the weather was darn cold, and sooo dry. My skin flakes (till now), and I feel like a snake. How amazing, for some people (quite a lot actually) who live in Vegas. Even 3 days are enough for me, I can't imagine if I have to live there...I will die bored I guess....

Well, never been in Vegas at the winter before, especially during the holiday season. Christmas atmosphere is everywhere in Vegas. But it feels weird though, I don't know why, somehow I think Christmas doesn't really match with the city (which is so many casinos)....I don't think I will prefer Vegas to spend my Christmas time, definitely not. NY will be great maybe, though it must be even colder...:)

My uncle surprised me when he told me (after I got there) that we are going to see Celine Dion's show at Caesars Palace. Wow! That's great, but one big major problem: I barely bring something nice and formal to wear when I am on vacation (unless I knew before that I will need formal clothes). All my stuff inside my bag usually only jeans, and t-shirts or sweaters. So, finally I ended up with my regular jeans ^_^ I know it's okay still, cause in Vegas, people are still wearing casual clothes. I just felt a little bit awkward, cause they all wore (my family) something nice for evening show. Oh well, it didn't really matter after all, as soon as the show started, I can only think, how beautiful she (Celine Dion) is, how great is her voice. The show was great! It's not like concert's tour, it's more like Vegas show, so fancy and extravaganza, with beautiful dancers and great setting for the stage. I really enjoyed the show (thanks to my unle!) And I was so happy when she sang 2 of my fav songs: To love you more, and of course, My heart will go on.
I heard Caesars built the auditorium only for her, and built a very pretty house too in Las Vegas. Hmm...but they have contract for her for about 4-5 years, so it should be a good deal for both sides. Oh yeah, when I just entered the auditorium, I saw a big sign of Chrysler. I know she was on the advertisement for them, and now they advertise her? Fi fa fo fum, who advertise who now?

So, it was a great weekend for me, Tired, but I am glad I decided to go with them.
